Hosting
This website is hosted by Framer B.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands. When you open a page, Framer’s servers process technical data that your browser sends: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is a stable and secure website.
Framer processes this data on my behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Framer also uses service providers outside the EU, including in the USA. Such transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Analytics
I use Framer’s built-in analytics to count visits and page views. It sets no cookies and creates no persistent identifiers. To count unique visitors per day, your IP address and browser details are combined with a key that changes and is deleted every day, and only the resulting hash is used. The data cannot be traced back to you. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is understanding which content is read.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, I process the data you enter to answer your request. The form is provided by Framer, and submissions are stored in my Framer account. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or its preparation, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is answering your request. I delete the data once your request is settled, unless statutory retention periods apply.
If you email me, I process your email address and the content of your message to answer you. My email runs on Google Workspace, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland, under a data processing agreement. Google may also process data in the USA. Such transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Legal basis and deletion as for the contact form.
Storage in your browser
The website stores display settings in your browser’s local storage, for example whether the sidebar is collapsed. These settings stay on your device and are not sent to me or to third parties. Storing them is strictly necessary to provide the functions you use (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
Links to other websites
This website links to profiles on X, LinkedIn and YouTube and to other websites. These are plain links. No data is sent to these services until you click a link. After that, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, write to lennart@orlando-x.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI).
Other information
You are not obliged to provide personal data. Without your contact details, however, I cannot answer your request. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
